The FSC imposed administrative fines of NT$ 12 millions on E.SUN Commercial Bank and Bank SinoPac respectively after discovering that former wealth managers at each bank had misappropriated customer’s funds, and that the former wealth manager at Bank SinoPac had also abnormal fund transactions with customers. Each bank was found to be in violation of Paragraph 1 of Article 45-1 of the Banking Act and the fines were imposed in accordance with Subparagraph 7 of Article 129 of the same act.
