Mr. Chen-chang Tong (童政彰), the former Deputy Director General of the Banking Bureau, was promoted to the position of Director General of the Financial Examination Bureau on September 25, 2024. The vacancy left by Mr. Tong has been filled by Mr. Li-yang Hou (侯立洋), the former Chief Secretary of the Banking Bureau. The vacancy left by Mr. Hou has been filled by Mr. Yun-chung Wang (王允中), a former division director of the Bureau. Both appointments took effect on October 7, 2024.
